Version 3.0 is soon available in the Garmin Connect IQ store. We have improved the menu structure which make it easier to load courses and to change modes. New users will also be guided the first time they use o-range to make it easier for beginners to understand the application. In addition, it will be possible to choose between three different disciplines, FootO, SkiO and MTB0. This means that you can choose to save the activities as Trail running, cross country skiing or mountain biking in Garmin connect. Unfortunately is it not possible to choose orienteering as a sport in the Garmin Universe.
With version 3.0 you get more information about your o-range exercise. The course time, pace and length will be saved under the statistics in Garmin Connect. In addition the code, leg pace and leg distance will be saved under laps in Garmin connect. This makes better to analyse your exercise.
Up to now, the focus in the development has been to make an application for all Garmin watches, also those with low memory. A lot of effort has been put down to reduce the memory usage in the code to make is fast and reliable for all Garmin watches.
